“WOW. We are from Virginia and bought a boat in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin. We needed to have work done on our new boat and found Bay Marine online. They were exceptional in every way. We had a trip timing issue, as we needed to get underway to take the boat by water back to Virginia before the weather started getting cold and difficult. The boat needed to be ready without delay and properly repaired for a 1400+ mile trip across unknown waters, including three of the Great Lakes, the Erie Canal, the Hudson River, and the Atlantic. Tom Knauer bent over backwards to see that all work was done properly on our boat and in a timely manner. “What a difference a year can make! Very happy with how Bay Marine has conducted themselves as they continue to grow. Great service department! Had a couple hiccups with them last storage season but they addressed it promptly, professionally and with excellent performance in their service and billing departments. They have taken care of bringing on some new techs (most notably Miguel) who is great at troubleshooting any problems a boat may experience as it continues to age.

Recently had some service done in the boat at our harbor in Chicago (yes, they do “house calls” to at your marina) and Miguel made sure everything was in tip top shape and was able to quickly figure out that we had a problem in our steering column. The problem has since been fixed.

They offer competitive pricing, and lets all face it, that is key. I believe there is nothing wrong with getting charged reasonably for work to be done. Bay Marine pricing is competitive and their new service department makes me happy. I feel they really have taken care of our boat well.
